Green Does Not Compute

We're shopping for a laptop these days and of course my preference would be a Mac - we love the desktop and all the Mac features. The temptation to downgrade to an inexpensive PC is definitely there, though, with the sticker shock being so much less in many cases.

However, when I looked at Greenpeace's list of computer manufacturers that make the Earth-friendly grade I found the Guide To Greener Electronics.

It's put me back on track - a couple hundred dollars now - less toxicity later - sounds like a good deal to me.
